Some of my worst virus's ever I have gotten during airplane travel. One time the plane hadn't even landed yet and my throat was getting all sore and yucky.
However, the curative/preventative claims about "Airborne" are greatly exaggerated:
According to the Center for Science in the Public Interest... there is no credible evidence that Airborne prevents colds or protects consumers from germs. Airborne is basically an overpriced, run-of-the-mill vitamin pill that's been cleverly, but deceptively, marketed.
oh no! we have strep throat over here..hope that is not what you have. we traveled by plane last week and i'm blaming that. seriously, are airplanes EVER disinfected in any type of fashion whatsoever???
FEEL BETTER! gargle w/ salt water. take some zinc. eat ice cream with abandon.
I read your previous posts and had to laugh. I lived in MN for 16 years. Unless I say, Minneapolis, no one would know where I am talking about. Get lots of rest.
I blame all sicknesses like that on airplane rides. I cannot take a plane anywhere without getting a case of stabby throat.
ReplyDeleteGet well soon, Jane!!
nice picture.... you are kind of cute.... do you have a boyfriend?
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself. I totally agree about the airplane making people sick- all that recycled air.
ReplyDeleteI love airborne or whatever that crap is called. It has forever cured my post airplane stabby throat illnesses!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon. Warm salt water gargles will help.

[Sorry, it's my calling in life!]
Bwahahahaha that was funny. On the serious side feel better.
ReplyDeleteOh man, travel is the worst on the immune system! we've all been there. Another of many reasons why the airlines are dead to me. Feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon, Jane!
ReplyDeleteIf I were you, I would blame the entire Mid-West. I think there is something in the air here, I've had a sinus infection for going on 3 weeks!
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon Jane!
I agree with Salt. ... its the plane. Large metal petri dishes for germs.
ReplyDeleteHolly hopes Jane feels better soon.
Sounds like you should've stuck with your tic to Minnesota. Sorry. I do like the lady bug building pic, though.
ReplyDeleteFeel better!
Cheers,
Roby

ReplyDeleteHope you will well soon, very soon!!!
I like your hair.
ReplyDeleteAnd what Erin says, gargle, gargle, gargle.
It was probably from the toxic combination of good cheese and beer and then of course, the toxic waste dump known as an airplane.
Feel better.

I just read about the Airborne. Whatever... I like the taste of crushed up vitamins that aren't quite dissolved in water. REALLY I do.
ReplyDelete:(
Fine. I've been tricked. Bamboozled again.
